Hello! I am an ocean conservationist, environmental activist, scuba instructor, and creator. I graduated from the University of Georgia’s College of Public Health in 2018 with a B.S. in Health Promotion and Behavior. During my senior year, I led internal and external Worksite Health Promotion at Northwestern Benefit Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia. I enjoyed studying health and the human body, but my heart led me to the Florida Keys after graduation to pursue a career as a Scuba Instructor. I became a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer in 2019 and have taught hundreds of scuba classes and led thousands of snorkel tours. I cherish the opportunity that I had to educate customers about our coral reefs, but I craved the opportunity to do so on a larger scale. This is what led me to join the board of the Florida Keys chapter of the Surfrider Foundation and pursue opportunities in communications, education, and outreach to help protect our world’s oceans. In the future, I hope to play a pivotal role in conservation and coral reef restoration efforts through my experience as a dive instructor and my research and communications skills that I have highlighted in this website portfolio.
